Area Managing PartnerIn his role as Americas Area Managing Partner, Steve has leadership of some 41, 500 Ernst & Young people across 30 countries. Steve is focused on building our strength throughout the Americas, which — in addition to North America — includes Latin America, with its important emerging economies, and Israel, with its large number of SEC registrants. Steve was leader of Ernst & Young’s New York Financial Services Office prior to his appointment as Americas Area Managing Partner and is the Executive Sponsor of the Americas Area Inclusiveness agenda and a member of the Global Executive Board. Senior Vice Chair and COOGary became Americas Chief Operating Officer on January 1, 2007. He joined Ernst & Young in Kansas City in 1978 and in the years since has served as Southwest Area Director of Assurance and Advisory Business Services (AABS) and AABS Managing Partner. Gary also held the position of AABS Chief Operating Officer from 2001 through 2006.

Senior Vice Chair — MarketsMark is Senior Vice Chair of Markets, a position he assumed in 2006. Since joining the firm, Mark has served as Senior Client Service Partner for the Pacific North West and has also been Managing Partner in the Stamford, Connecticut and San Francisco offices. Mark has served on the Advisory Council and with the Global Accounts Advisory Group. One area that Mark and his team have been highly focused on is the financial downturn. Prior to this role, she served as Managing Partner of AABS Area Practices, National Director of Human Resources for the AABS Practice, Audit Partner in the Stamford office and Area Director of Human Resources for Connecticut. Nancy and her team concentrate on the development of people across the Ernst & Young Americas region. Vice Chair — Tax Services Kate is Americas Vice Chair of Tax Services. She previously served as Tax Managing Partner (TMP) for the Northeast and as the New York City Office Managing Partner. She was first named a TMP in 2002, in the former New England Area. Her teams advise on planning, compliance and reporting to help clients meet increasingly complex tax requirements within the context of their strategic business objectives. Global Vice Chair — Public Policy, Sustainability and Stakeholder EngagementBeth Brooke is Global Vice Chair of Public Policy, Sustainability and Stakeholder Engagement, and is a member of Ernst & Young’s Global Management Group. Beth focuses on developing the firm’s strategic direction and shaping its position on public policy. Her work includes engaging with regulators, policy makers, business leaders, investors and other key stakeholders around the world to address the critical issues facing the profession and global capital markets. Through her outreach, Beth has become one of the profession’s most prominent voices in the public policy arena. Vice Chair — Quality and Risk Management Randy is Americas Vice Chair of Quality and Risk Management. He has held various national positions including, most recently, Americas Vice Chair of Professional Practice and Risk Management for the Assurance practice. Randy serves on the Professional Practice Executive Committee and Research Advisory Board of the Center for Audit Quality, and on the XBRL US Board of Directors. He spent his first 20 years at Ernst & Young serving commercial banking and other financial services clients, and in key leadership positions in Ernst & Young’s financial services industry practice, including Regional Director in the southern/western regions of the US for Ernst & Young LLP. Randy is a past Chair of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).

He has also led the Real Estate, Hospitality and Private Equity practices. Vice Chair – Professional Practice and Risk ManagementKevin is Americas Vice Chair of — Professional Practice and Risk Management, a position he assumed in December 2009. He has overall responsibility for Ernst & Young LLP's national office accounting, auditing, and the SEC reporting functions. He also oversees the quality and risk management activities of the firm's Assurance practice. Kevin has been with the firm for more than 30 years, during which time he has served as coordinating partner for major clients in the media and entertainment, investment banking and private equity industries. He formerly served for four years on the FASB's Financial Accounting Standards Advisory Council and currently sits on the PCAOB's Standing Advisory Group. He is a member of the AICPA and the New York State Society of CPAs.

Vice Chair and Financial Services Office Managing Partner Carmine is Vice Chair and Financial Services Office (FSO) Managing Partner, a position he has held since 2006. Carmine leads some 3,400 people across more than 30 locations in the United States, Bermuda, the Bahamas and the Cayman Islands. Ernst & Young is the only public accounting firm with a separate geographic area dedicated to serving the financial services marketplace. Since joining the firm in 1985, Carmine has provided assurance and advisory services to leading capital markets and banking industry clients, and also led the FSO Banking & Capital Markets practice.

Vice Chair and Pacific South West Managing Partner Peter is Vice Chair and Pacific South West Managing Partner, a position he has held since 2006. The Pacific South West is the market leader serving health sciences; real estate; media and entertainment; Strategic Growth Markets; and gaming and hospitality clients.

Vice Chair and Northeast Managing Partner Mark is Vice Chair and Northeast Managing Partner. He joined the firm in 1978 serving in National Planning and Client Services. In 1995 Mark was appointed New York Area Industry Leader of Consumer Products, then served as Metropolitan New York Area (MNYA) Leader for Global Accounts. In 2005 he was named MNYA Managing Partner and assumed his current position in 2006.

Vice Chair and Pacific North West Managing Partner Kay is Vice Chair and Pacific North West Managing Partner. She joined the Ernst & Young Austin office in 1983 and went on to serve as Gulf Coast Area Industry Leader of Information, Communications and Entertainment; Austin Managing Partner; and Gulf Coast Area Assurance and Advisory Business Services (AABS) Managing Partner. Kay has also served as AABS Managing Partner of Area Practices in the Americas and AABS COO.

Chairman and South America Managing Partner Jorge is Chairman of South America, a position he has held since 2007. Previously, he served as acting Vice Chair and South America Managing Partner. In Jorge’s more than 30 years with Ernst & Young, he has focused on the coordination of services for large national and multinational clients. From 2004 to June 2006, he served as the market leader of the eastern region of South America (Brazil).
